Happy 2012 ramble!

Happy New Year, everyone!

This time last year I had bought Tracy Anderson's matt workout DVD. I only tried it out six months later (!) for one week before going on holiday, then for a few weeks again in summer. Not much, I know, but I saw results within a week! I was really impressed and would encourage anyone who's interested to try it. I bought her dance workout, too, but found it way too complicated - I found myself hopping around, clueless and silly, and wasn't too inspired. When I get a new pair of trainers I'll try again (... is what I've been saying for several months).

But for now, I want to try something new and I'm going for the perfect Pippa Middleton bottom! Her pilates instructor has released a DVD. Who else is trying this?

2012 isn't all about exercise, though. Let's talk shopping...

I've decided that I need more shoes! Especially taller heels. I want a pair of the ultimate classic black heels and I think they might have to be Louboutins. I don't own any yet but I love the look of the sexy red sole! I always think his prices are outrageous but shoes are still cheaper than the kind of handbags I get so why not.

I've already mentioned that I want some new Stuart Weitzmann boots for next autumn/winter.

Apart from shoes, I desperately need a couple of dresses. I want a new LBD and other little dresses as well as some smart daytime dresses (think Kate). I've got my eyes on Diane von Furstenberg - I really want one of her wrap dresses - and maybe BCBG Max Azria, Issa...? Any ideas?

Hence 2012 will hopefully be about heels and dresses.

I will not be buying (too many) handbags - but IF I could I would get the Stella McCartney Falabella, the Celine luggage tote, more Mulberry and perhaps some Kate Spade. Ahh wait, if I find the perfect neutral clutch then I won't say no...

Just one last random comment: I've been meaning to tell you that I think the Lancome precious cells mascara really does make eyelashes grow! I've been using it every day since I got it at the end of October (here) and I've noticed a difference. In fact, I'd actually cut my eyelashes before using the Lancome so I know that they were all the same length (I had a mix of short and longer eyelashes from having used LiLash). The effect is not as dramatic as LiLash but I actually prefer the subtle change so I don't get questioned by everyone I talk to. Definitely worth trying!
