Perfume on the go

How do you take your perfume with you when you travel? I used to always ask for sample sizes of the perfume I liked/was buying and also buy the matching body lotion. But life just got so much simpler. A while ago I was browsing through a BA (British Airways) in-flight shopping magazine and finally decided to buy a little bottle that I'd seen and read about many times before but had never bought: the Travalo.

It is brilliant. It really works.

It is a "refillable atomiser bottle... (that) refills in seconds with a simple repeated pump action." So here is how it works.

This is one of my favourite perfumes, Chloe.
First, you remove the nozzle from the bottle.

You place the bottom of the Travalo bottle...

... onto the nozzle of the big perfume bottle and once it's in place, you push it down. And repeat several times.

There is a fill level indicator so you can see how full it is.

And that's it! SO easy. Apparently the classic Travalo (which is what I have, I think) can contain enough perfume for 50 sprays.

They only had this boring silver one on the flight but it looks like you can choose from 10 colours! More info here.

Travalo Excel gives over 65 sprays

Oh, that is so cool! I would love to have something like that! Most of the time I just buy small bottles of perfume so they travel easy.

I have a few of these! I love them and so easy to use. The ladies at the drug store are super nice about letting me fill them from their big sample bottles so I can try the scents for a few days before committing to a big bottle.
